Primarily, A Place to Belong provides training for agency workers in community inclusion. A Place to Belong has trained support workers, coordinators, managers and government workers across the disability and mental health sector.
Modules of training range from two hours to sixteen hours.
Training can be provided either in Brisbane or outside the Brisbane area (provided air fares and accommodation are costed in). A Place to Belong has trained people in organisations in many areas including Newcastle, Lismore, Mackay, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Mount Isa, Cairns, Townsville, Rockhampton, Dysart, Roma, Melbourne and the Gold Coast.
